Morgan Powell of Savannah, Georgia is the Owner and Lead Photographer of MDB Photography. She grew up in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania where she interned for a talented wedding photographer in her high school years. After graduating, she decided to move to Savannah to pursue her passion. Morgan is a proud graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned her BFA in Photography, with a double minor in Fashion Photography and Advertising Photography.

Throughout her eleven-year career, Morgan has been published and recognized with awards. She loves to get to know her couples throughout the wedding planning process. She wants to know about you, your soulmate, your love story, what the name of your dog is, and everything in between! That way, when she arrives on the big day, it’s like an old friend coming to capture one of the biggest days of your life.

She loves to be a fly on the wall and capture the real and raw moments of the wedding day. Whether it’s you giggling with your bridesmaids or your groom tearing up as you walk down the aisle. Those are the moments that are going to help you relive your wedding day.

When you are showing your grandkids your wedding photos decades from now, she wants your wedding images to still be relevant. Not outdated. Not “that editing is so 2024.” Her images are timeless with rich greens and warm tones. Her images are timeless & classic family heirlooms.

In her free time, Morgan enjoys activities such as boating, scuba diving, and exploring Savannah with her husband and their Golden Doodle, Frank Sinatra.
