Master's Degree Holder With 300+ Weddings; Loves Documentary & Fine Art
BACKGROUND
I have a Masters Degree in Photography and have shot over 300 weddings. I particularly love black and white documentary photography and abstract fine art. I initially did not imagine myself ever photographing weddings, but after the first one, I was hooked!
Why Wedding?
I enjoy problem solving and puzzles, and I’m always up for a good challenge! Until I shot my first wedding, I didn't realize how perfectly weddings were suited for me. Finding the best light or, in its stubborn absence, manufacturing it from thin air, is a task I enjoy. Arranging my couples isn't just about making them look their best; it's about turning them into living, breathing pieces of art - art that occasionally blinks or needs a break to touch up makeup.
Outside of Work
I started out shooting film way back before digital was a thing and I still love working with film and making prints in the darkroom. I have traveled to numerous countries and have a very curious personality. Anytime I can explore a new place, I love it!
